Taste of Mexico

Mexico is our neighbor to the south so you can see a lot of their influence in our southern California culture. Maybe, like us, you are always on the search for perfect Mexican food. Although, we think we’ve got that at Redlands Ranch Market! But we love to try other’s takes on Mexican classics. But with so much culture around us, you may not have thought about visiting Mexico yourself. If not, here are a few reasons you should:

Mexican food is delicious, and when you’re eating in Mexico, it can raise it up to the next level. From cemita to tacos with freshly caught lobster, to pozole… there are so many new flavors to try in Mexico. Also, Mexico is a vast country, and each region is known for their specific type of food. If you want to try something new and delicious make sure you plan to travel in Oaxaca, Puebla, Morelia, Mexico City, Merida, and Puerto Vallarta. Each of these areas will give you different flavors of classic foods or give you an opportunity to try something entirely new.

One of the things you might not think about with Mexico is that it has some of the most stunning beaches in the world. Bluewater and white sand characterize them. But each one is perfect for a relaxing day in paradise. If you head to Playa Manzanillo, you can expect to find some fantastic snorkeling there. While if you head to Tulum, you can enjoy the beach while also checking out the Inca ruins nearby.

Money Savings

One of the things that make vacationing in Mexico a great option is the affordability of everything there. If you stay in a larger city or more high-class accommodations, of course, you’re going to spend more. But there are tons of vacation spots throughout the country that are significantly cheaper but maybe more beautiful than their Caribbean counterparts. Today, one US Dollar is 18 Mexican pesos so find those savings while you can.

Of course, if you want a taste of Mexico, you can always find that at Redlands Ranch Market. From our bakery to our concina to our tortilleria; we always want to give you a taste of “Autenticamente fresco con amabilidad” which in Spanish means Authentically Fresh…….and Friendly!
