But if you “lava” some volcanoes, there’s no better place to explore than Guatemala.

World’s Best Coffee

We’ve all seen the shops that boast that they have the “World’s Best Coffee,” most likely they’re getting their coffee from Guatemala! To grow coffee, you need fertile soil and high elevations which is perfect for a country that is known for their volcanoes. Many of the coffee farms can are on the side of a volcano, which you can tour and taste to see the fruits of their labors.

Ancient Ruins

The Mayan capital city of Tikal is in Guatemala! This site is stunning and should be visited. However, it is not the only Mayan ruins in this small country. You can also see the ruins of El Mirador which boasts to be one the largest Mayan complexes in Central America.

Delicious Food!

The food of the Guatemalan people is always something to be tried and savored. They create elaborate recipes that hold so many different flavors, all the way down to simple fares like rice and beans. But for some reason, it just tastes better than what you get at home.

If you love Guatemalan food, you will want to make sure you stop by Redlands Ranch Market. We have Guatemalan delicacies of mangos verde en salsamuera, loroco en salsamuera, pacana en salsamuera and nance el almibar. We are always getting new international foods. So even if you can’t go to a particular country, you can still taste their foods!
